Round Tables and meetings of experts & international conferences
The Institute pays special attentions to current interest and convenes meetins, conferences, seminars in areas where the promotion of International Humanitarian Law is considered appropriate. These topics include the protection of refugees, the implementation and development orf humanitarian law, migration problems, disasters relief, the law of armed conflict at sea, and more recently terrorism , chemical weapons, customary international law and non-state actors.
These important events allow participants from the international community the opportunity to define humanitarian problems, examine relevant legal instruments, assess action to be taken, and propose new ideas for future development.
